Counselling is a journey we take together, by focusing on what you feel is important. Thoughts and feelings about counselling are received with care and understanding. Every person is valued regardless of race, gender, sexuality, religion, ethnicity, physical and neurological differences. Your confidentiality and privacy will always be protected.
I work at your own pace and provide a space which is free from judgement where you can experience warmth and acceptance from someone who wants to see things from your perspective. This supports you to find a way of coping, create a stronger sense of self, trust in your abilities and break unhelpful patterns of behaviour.
I am trained to use a variety of approaches to find the right way of working that suits you. This could be various types of talking therapy or working in a more creative way to understand what we are not aware of in our unconscious.
